India's most high-profile tax spat between mobile phone firm Vodafone and the Income Tax department continues to turn towards a bitter stand-off. The two have still not agreed on the apportionment amount of the tax liabilty to be paid by Vodafone, which the tax department has pegged at Rs. 12,000 crore.
