C Jayaram, Joint Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra Bank speaks to NDTV Profit about the controversy over General Anti Avoidance Rule or GAAR. He said that the global investors have serious concerns over GAAR. "There is no clarity on under what circumstances GAAR will be applied. Global funds will not look at India till they get some clarifications and hence, we expect more clarity on GAAR guidelines by mid-May," he said.
