Ajay Bodke, CEO and chief portfolio manager (PMS) at Prabhudas Lilladher, says the government has already spent 22 per cent of its total budgeted expenditure in the road sector in the first two months of this fiscal year. Government's focus in terms of frontloading its capex is beneficial for the capital goods, engineering, road construction companies, he added.
