Peaceful but sombre Christmas in Kandhmal
Contrary to the apprehensions of trouble Christmas celebrations in the riot-hit Kandhmal district in Orissa, it passed off peacefully. While midnight services were offered in nearly 60 churches across the district, it was lacklustre and somber.
