Noida Shocker: Woman Dies by Suicide, Family Alleges Dowry Torture by In-Laws
A 25-year-old married woman died by suicide in Greater Noida's Ecotech 3 area after allegedly jumping from a rooftop. Her family has accused her husband and in-laws of repeated dowry harassment and physical abuse. According to the family, the woman was married in December 2024 and her in-laws allegedly demanded ₹50 lakh in dowry despite receiving a Scorpio SUV, cash, and gold at the time of marriage. Police have arrested the husband and father-in-law, while the body has been sent for postmortem examination. Investigation is underway.
