According to a tweet from news agency ANI, Mohammed Shami has been chargedsheeted by Kolkata Police as they submitted the documents before the Alipore police court. He has been accused of various crimes including assault and sexual harassment by his estranged wife. With the ICC World Cup 2019 approaching, the chargesheet comes as a major blow for the premier India pacer. He was a part of Team India's ODI squad which lost 2-3 against Australia in their final assignment before the marquee tournament.
