Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge said the new Congress government in the state will undo many policies of the previous BJP government for the state's economic progress. He also spoke on the hijab ban in the state. "My prime objective is to ensure jobs and education to all young people," he said. He did not directly answer whether the Congress government will bring back quota for Muslim. "Nobody is happy, will need to set it right. We need to bring equality," Mr Kharge told NDTV, adding the question whether the Congress only wants to keep Muslim voters intact ahead of the 2024 national election is "a question by sore losers", referring to the BJP that lost power in the southern state.
