'No Help From Indian Embassy': Resident Doctors Stuck In Ukraine's Sumy

"God is perhaps showing some mercy on us. It is cold, but today was sunny. Few days back when we ran out of water, we saw heavy snowfall which from which we collected water," said a senior resident doctor in Sumy, adding that the Indian embassy has not been of much help and that volunteers from Kusum Pharma Group - an Indian company in Ukraine - is giving them food and water. Dr Deeksha Pandey, another senior resident doctor stuck in Sumy, said, "There was no on ground work by the Indian embassy when it came to providing food and water."
