Never has online trolling been more vicious, and targeted and no one is immune. From external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj being targeted because her ministry facilitated the passports of an interfaith couple, to Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi who said there were rape threats directed at her daughter. So what is emboldening trolls who spread hate and threaten violence? Is it an ineffective law or a culture of impunity? Tonight we ask, can we let trolls get away with threats of violence and rape?
