Meta Responds After India Orders Removal Of Child Abuse Content
Meta has responded after the Indian government directed the company to immediately remove Instagram advertisements and content promoting or facilitating child sexual abuse material (CSAM). In its statement, Meta said child exploitation is a "horrific crime" and stressed that it takes such violations seriously, adding that it works aggressively to combat abuse both on and off its platforms.
