A top Indian Army commander has said it would not be correct to correlate the surgical strike carried out inside Myanmar on Tuesday with the situation on the Kashmir border, where a similar "hot pursuit" is not possible. When NDTV asked General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Army's 15 Corps, Lieutenant General Subrata Saha, about India's latest strike, he said "What action we take, what response we do is clearly related to operational circumstances. I would not like to do a correlation in the manner you suggest. There has been an operation, to which there has been a very effective response."
