In a major development in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks probe, the NIA on July 23 filed a supplementary chargesheet. The chargesheet details the role of Pakistani-origin Canadian national Tahawwur Hussain Rana in aiding the deadly assault that killed over 170 people. As per the chargesheet, Rana played a crucial role in supporting terrorist David Headley, a Pakistani-American operative linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba. Tahawwur Rana facilitated David Headley’s reconnaissance missions across Mumbai.
