NHRC Seeks Action Over Ranbir Kapoor's E-Cigarette Scene In Netflix's 'Ba***ds of Bollywood'
The National Human Rights Commission has asked the Information and Broadcasting Ministry and Mumbai Police to submit an action taken report after a complaint against Netflix's series 'Ba***ds of Bollywood'. The complaint alleges that actor Ranbir Kapoor was shown using a banned e-cigarette on screen without any statutory warning, potentially misleading young viewers and violating the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act.
