"He had so many dreams. He used to say that after IIT he wanted to get into IIM. All of that was destroyed due to ragging. I am appealing to other parents so that they don't face the same issues. I don't want any other Faizan to suffer. Do we send our kids to IITs to die? We send them for studies. Please, wake up," said Rehana Ahmed, mother of Faizan Ahmed, an IIT Kharagpur student who was found dead in his hostel room last month.
