While speaking on NDTV's We The People, Dr Joyeeta Basu, the co-founder and director of Doctor's Hub, said that it was difficult to get rid of masalas such as Everest as they were more convenient than finding spices and grinding them to make masala. She stressed the need to check the ingredients of these masalas as well as reduce processed food in one's diet.
