Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh downplayed the opposition's claims about PM Modi's tenure as the Prime Minister. "The opposition is trying to mislead the people of the country to gain votes... Congress and its allies are responsible for giving birth to crisis of credibility in Indian politics… Being a senior leader of the BJP I claim he will be the prime Minister in 2024 and 2029," he said.
