As the Manipur crisis enters its fourth month today, there seems to be no signs of the tension diffusing. While the Kuki-Zomi groups put the burial of 35 tribal victims of the violence on hold following a request from the Union Home Ministry, the Manipur High Court ordered a status quo on the land in a dramatic 6 am hearing. Protests and clashes were reported in Bishnupur today.
