With more and more countries detecting cases of the new Covid variant, Omicron, Dr Lawrence Young, Virologist, University of Warwick, says the virus was clearly in circulation around the world before being identified, and one could expect a case in India soon. Dr Young said it is a wake up call for vaccine equity across the world.
