Mercury soars in Ganganagar

Ganganagar in northwest Rajasthan is one of the hottest places in north India with temperatures touching 47 and 48 degrees. The rest of the state is not much better with districts in Rajasthan recording temperatures well above 42 degrees and the heat wave claiming six lives in the state.
