On Save the Children and NDTV telethon #TheInvisibles, Actor Lakshmi Manchu said that she has been running an NGO for children for the last six years and has realised that food is the most important thing for the health and wellbeing of children. Ms. Manchu's NGO has reached out to more than 5,000 families in Telangana amid the crisis and has also adopted eight villages in the state for taking care of their essential and food supplies.
