Today, the Delhi government decided to ban the sale of Maggi noodles for 15 days and has asked Nestle India to recall its stocks saying sales will only resume after checks on future batches. As more and more states send batches of the popular fast food to test for lead and monosodium glutamate or MSG beyond permissible limits, Delhi has taken a step further saying all noodle brands will be tested. West Bengal has decided to test Lays potato chips as well as Kurkure.
