There was high drama in a Delhi court where the five accused in the gang-rape and murder case of the 23-year-old medical student were produced today with lawyers almost coming to blows over whether any of them should volunteer to defend the men. The delay in getting them a defence lawyer is also delaying the start of the fast-track trial.
