Indian-Australian Community Seek Apology from Rahul Gandhi, Kharge Over PM Modi's Event Remarks

Members of the Indian diaspora in Australia have written an open letter to Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, demanding an apology over allegations that attendees at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Melbourne event were part of a “paid crowd.” The organisers maintain that the event and the special chartered flight from Sydney to Melbourne were organised voluntarily by members of the Indian-Australian community without funding from the BJP or the Government of India. They have called on the Congress to withdraw its allegations and acknowledge the absence of evidence supporting those claims.
