Proper disposal of biomedical waste in India has been a huge challenge for several years. However, since the advent of COVID-19 pandemic, this has become an even bigger concern. The proper disposal of biomedical waste like masks, gloves, PPE units used by general public and medical staff has posed a bigger threat not only to the environment but to us as well.
