Despite having to have her leg amputated due to cancer, Sita Subedi was adamant about pursuing a career in dance. Nevertheless, she persisted in her passion and eventually found success as a dance instructor. She lost her left leg to cancer before entering adolescence, at the age of 12. Growing up in a rural settlement of Chitwan District, Sita Subedi felt it was the end of her passion for dance when one of her legs was amputated.
