Nepal Floods: Thermal Drones Hunt For 900 Missing Workers
As Nepal’s catastrophic floods leave more than 1,000 dead and thousands missing, filmmaker and drone pilot Manish Maharjan has joined rescue teams using thermal drones to search for survivors. Around 900 workers remain missing from 12 hydropower projects, with nearly 500 feared trapped inside mud-filled tunnels. Rescuers are racing against time as debris, difficult terrain and collapsed tunnels hamper the search.
