Nepal Floods: Rescue Continues As Bodies Arrive For DNA Identification

Rescue operations continue in Nepal's Rasuwa district, with helicopters ferrying stranded residents from the interiors of Shafrubesi and Timure Bazaar while also bringing back bodies recovered from under the debris. The recovered remains are being taken to local hospitals for post-mortem examination and DNA sampling before burial. With several families, including Indians still missing after the floods, preserving DNA samples is a crucial step towards identifying victims and providing closure to their loved ones.
