Nepal Floods: 500+ Feared Trapped In Four Tunnels, Says Rasuwa MP

Nepal’s Rasuwa district remains one of the worst-hit areas after the devastating flash floods of August 26. Rasuwa MP Mohan Acharya tells NDTV that more than 500 people are feared trapped across four tunnels, while rescue teams continue searching the affected areas. Acharya says survivors from several of the worst-hit areas have been rescued and brought to Kathmandu, while the search for those still missing continues. Indian and Chinese rescue teams are also involved in the tunnel operations.
