Nine days after devastating flash floods struck Nepal, the grim search for missing victims continues along the Narayani River. In Bharatpur, more than 300 unidentified bodies have been temporarily buried after morgues ran out of space, while rescue teams continue recovering bodies from the river.
DNA samples and identification numbers are being used to help reunite victims with their families. With rain making the burial ground increasingly difficult to work in, the task of identification and possible exhumation could become even more challenging.
