Officials have had to shut down the Bandra-Worli Sealink in Mumbai with strong cyclonic winds blowing over the city after Cyclone Nisarga made landfall in Alibaug. Police have requested people to not leave their homes, especially on two-wheelers. People have been warned to stay away from the seafronts. Trees have been uprooted in many places across the city, which has not reported any major incidents of damage and injury so far.
