Mumbai not unsafe: Mayor to US consulate
The US Consulate is advising American citizens in India against an annual monsoon ritual that Mumbai simply calls "the rain". The consulate has talked about flooded streets that could cause drowning, potholes that could break your back and open manholes that could swallow one up.
