As the war enters its second month, hospitals in Tel Aviv are adapting in extraordinary ways to continue saving lives. At Ichilov Hospital, one of the city's largest medical facilities, entire sections have been shifted three levels underground, converting parking areas into fully functional hospital wards.
With missiles and sirens a constant threat, critical units-including ICU, surgery, and neonatal care-are operating in fortified or underground zones to ensure uninterrupted treatment. In just 4-5 hours, hospital staff managed to move hundreds of patients into these secure facilities.
