Massive Sena vs Sena Dussehra Rallies In Mumbai
It has been a Sena versus Sena in Mumbai today on Dussehra, a day which holds great significance for the party. Supporters of both Team Shinde and Team Thackeray arrived at the rally venues in hundreds of buses. The two rival factions of the Shiv Sena held Dussehra rallies barely 10 km apart in Mumbai. After videos emerged of men being thrashed in public in Kheda in Gujarat, the local collector in the area spoke to NDTV. There are various accounts of the circumstances which resulted in these men being thrashed, which comes at a time when several members of the Muslim community in more than one state have been targeted as they tried to enter pandals during the festive season. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Kullu in Himachal Pradesh during Dussehra celebrations. He promised people in the state eduction projects, health and infrastructure worth thousands of crores.
