M Kharge Writes To Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman On CISF Personnel In Well Of House
The Congress party on Friday alleged that the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), which is a paramilitary force, was deployed inside the Rajya Sabha during an Opposition protest, calling it an "astonishing and shocking development". Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge wrote to the Rajya Sabha deputy chairman and demanded that CISF personnel not troop into the well of the House whenever the members raised issues of public concern.
