The first batch of Indians evacuated from Sudan reached New Delhi on Wednesday evening. Recounting the horror they faced there, a woman told NDTV "There is bombing inside houses. I've seen my own colleagues on gunpoint". She added that the people there just ran to save their lives, leaving money and belongings behind. Her daughter, 10, said she heard shelling in her school.
