JSW Steel targets 16-mn tonnes capacity by 2014

Steel manufacturer JSW is on a massive expansion drive. While the company is on track to expand its current capacity from 7.8 to 11 million tonnes by March 2011, it plans to add an additional 3 million tonnes of capacity in Bengal and 2 million tonnes at its Vijay Nagar plant at an estimated cost of Rs. 14,000 crore.
