Jawaharlal Nehru University: Eleven students have approached a university Internal Complaints Committee with allegations of inappropriate conduct by a professor during viva examinations, including sexually suggestive remarks and alleged offers of higher marks in exchange for sexual favours. The allegations surfaced after a student shared her experience in a students-only WhatsApp group, prompting others to come forward. The university panel has begun proceedings and is recording students' statements. Meanwhile, the ABVP has protested on campus, alleging delays and questioning whether political influence is affecting the process.
