Women personnel of the Border Security Force are standing guard along India’s most sensitive frontiers as part of the Counter-Infiltration Grid in the Akhnoor sector. These soldiers played a key role during Operation Sindoor, demolishing Pakistani posts and foiling attempts to target Indian villages. With winter setting in and dense fog reducing visibility, the BSF has intensified surveillance along the International Border and Line of Control using anti-fog devices, thermal imagers, and regular patrols. NDTV’s Pradeep Dutta reports from the ground.
