Israel Strikes Lebanese Coastal City Of Sidon

Israel struck the southern port city of Sidon in Lebanon without warning, and later warned residents of a neighborhood in the city to flee ahead of another attack. The Israeli military did not immediately disclose the target of the strike, though said it has targeted members of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah and allies. There was no immediate report of casualties. Lebanon’s branch of the Muslim Brotherhood the Islamic Group and the Palestinian Hamas militant group, key local allies of Hezbollah, are notably present in the city along the Mediterranean.
