Israel Launches Intense Airstrikes On Southern Lebanon, Journalists Injured
Israel carried out heavy airstrikes on Qanarit and other towns in southern Lebanon, saying it targeted Hezbollah military infrastructure to prevent the group from rebuilding its presence. The strikes followed IDF evacuation warnings for residents in multiple areas. Lebanon’s Health Ministry said 19 people, including journalists, were injured, even as the attacks continued despite a ceasefire agreed in November 2024.
