Iran Warns Oil Tankers in Strait of Hormuz: Follow Routes or Face “Forceful Response”
Iran has issued a strong warning to oil tankers and commercial vessels operating in the Strait of Hormuz, stating that ships must follow designated Iranian routes or face a “forceful response.” According to a statement broadcast by IRIB, the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya warned that any interference in the strategic waterway by the United States or deviation from approved navigation routes will be treated as a threat to Iran’s national sovereignty.
