Dr. Ganesh Baraiya overcame legal hurdles as a differently-abled individual and now works as a medical officer in a civil hospital. He said, "My primary education was in my village. I took the NEET UG exam in 2018, but at that time the Medical Council of India rejected me due to my disability. I was very dejected. We lost the case in the Gujarat High Court, but then we filed an appeal in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court ruled that no one can stop you because of your disability, and a seat would be reserved for you in 2019."
