Congress Launches Nationwide Protests Against CEC Gyanesh Kumar, Demands His Resignation
The confrontation between Congress and the Election Commission has intensified, with Congress launching nationwide protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Demonstrations are underway in Delhi, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Dehradun, Guwahati, Patna and Chandigarh. Congress has also put up "Gyanesh Hatao, Chunav Aayog Bachao" posters in Delhi, while opposition leaders are demanding action against the CEC. Rahul Gandhi has called for Gyanesh Kumar's resignation and accused him of acting against India.
