Inside Nuclear Watchdog's Emergency Centre | India Has Had No Radiation Accident Till Date: IAEA

NDTV visits the International Atomic Energy Agency’s global emergency centre in Vienna that monitors nuclear incidents worldwide. Director Amgad Shokr says the system runs round the clock and confirms India has had no nuclear emergency so far. He assures if anything happens anywhere, the IAEA will track, verify and inform the world. During the Fukushima accident it worked relentlessly, most recently it monitored the Israel, USA, Iran attacks on Barakah Nuclear Plant and on the radiation related incidents after the attacks on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) in the Russia-Ukraine War.
