In an exclusive interview to NDTV Profit, Mohandas Pai discusses his abrupt exit from Infosys after 16 years. Last week, Mr Pai resigned as the Director Incharge of the Human Resource Department. He also quit the board of the company. Some attributed his exit to his disappointment over not being selected as the company's CEO. Infosys is expected to announce its new CEO in August. Since 2007, Kris Gopalakrishnan has been serving as the CEO – and he is likely to hand over the reins of the company to the current COO SD Shibulal, after the board meeting in August.
