India-Pak Tensions Ease, Politics Over Op Sindoor Begins
Even as India-Pakistan tensions have de-escalated following the ceasefire agreement, politics over Operation Sindoor has begun. The opposition, led by Congress, demanded a special parliamentary session over the operation and sought clarity on US claims of having mediated the ceasefire. The Congress has also put up posters of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, praising her role in the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
