DUSU Election 2026 Results: ABVP Wins President, 2 Other Key Posts; NSUI Draws Blank
The DUSU Election 2026 results have been declared after 20 rounds of vote counting. ABVP won three of the four central posts, with Yash Dabas elected President, Riya Chhawdi elected Secretary and Lakshya Raj Singh elected Joint Secretary. Independent candidate Deepanshu Shokeen won the Vice-President post. Dabas defeated NSUI’s Vijay Shankar Meena in the presidential contest. The elected representatives spoke about their priorities, including student accommodation and female safety, while university officials asked winners and supporters not to hold victory rallies following Delhi High Court directions.
