Violence erupted at Delhi University's North Campus during the final phase of DUSU election campaigning on September 16. Clashes were reported between NSUI and ABVP workers, with both sides alleging attacks and several people sustaining injuries. A professor from Motilal Nehru College (Evening) was also allegedly assaulted during the campaign, with the incident captured on camera.
