India Builds Next-Gen Strike Drones As Global Drone Wars Intensify

Amid lessons from the drone warfare seen in the Iran-Israel conflict, India is accelerating development of indigenous long-range strike drones. The new Sheshnag Drone is designed for AI-powered swarming attacks with a range of over 1,000 km and has recently undergone highway launch trials. Alongside it, Project Kal Drone is being fast-tracked for deep-strike missions. The move comes as militaries worldwide study the effectiveness of Iranian Shahed Drone swarms used in recent conflicts.
