'We Need To Work On Our Defence': Manpreet Singh Despite India's Gold-Medal Triumph

Veteran midfielder Manpreet Singh hailed India's successful defence of the Asian Games hockey gold medal as a significant step towards the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, saying the direct qualification gives the team valuable extra time to prepare. While celebrating the achievement, Manpreet stressed that there remains room for improvement, particularly in defence. Echoing the coaching staff's philosophy that defence wins tournaments, he said India must tighten up at the back to remain ahead of the competition.
